The Garden series provides a point in which the medium of photography confronts itself in a confusion of spacial realities. It takes as its subject the photo murals used to conceal building works happening behind. The photographic images of a garden wall with trees behind suggested a threshold into a garden. Access to which was through the illusory photographic image. Like the mythic garden of Eden from which humanity has been excluded. It is locked and impenetrable. Entry is only through the image and the imagination. The garden series is the latest in a series of photographs of two dimensional surfaces in the everyday urban landscape.
